For the majority of tickets we sell, it’s possible to change the dates of your flights, but not the destinations after the tickets have been issued. Your Personal Travel Consultant will advise you of the specific change penalties imposed by the airlines for each of your flights when you make final reservations for your trip. These fees are specific to the airlines you fly on, so we won’t have exact change fee information until you’re ready to reserve your flights.
Destination (aka routing) changes are usually not allowed by the airlines—in most cases, you’ll need to submit your original tickets for a refund and then we can help you purchase new tickets for the new route you’d like to travel.
If you need to make changes while you’re traveling, you can contact the airlines directly to change the date for your flights. Sometimes, however, the airlines will refer you back to your issuing agency, AirTreks, to make date changes. In that case, our Customer Service Department will handle it. If you’ve purchased your tickets but haven’t yet departed for your trip, the airlines will likely require that you make changes through the issuing agency.
Note: You can make any changes you want for free, to a routing or otherwise before your tickets are paid for and issued. Please be sure to have your itinerary settled before you finalize your booking with a credit card or payment.
